This section also discusses two of the most important features of Tango application files: Tango meta tags and Tango variables (including variable scope and details on document instance variables). This section contains chapters on the following topics:
Chapter 2, the applicable parts of Chapter 3, and Chapters 4-5 in this section are strongly recommended for new users of Tango. Previous users of Tango may wish to examine in detail the parts of Chapter 2 that discuss Tango file formats, and applications; the parts of Chapter 3 that discuss new Tango project features (project dependencies and FTP); and the parts of Chapter 4 that give details on Pervasive.SQL data source integration. Chapter 7 and a look through Chapter 8 are recommended for new users of Tango. Chapter 9 is recommended for anyone working with XML or structured data. Previous users of Tango may want to read the sections in Chapter 8 dealing with application variable scope, domain scope, and custom scopes, as well as Chapter 9. |
