The WebSTAR server application is responsible for serving all Web (HTTP), Mail, FTP and Proxy connection requests. It is the core application and must be running for your server to be available. For configuration information, see Server Administration and Status .
The WebSTAR server application acts as an umbrella under which all WebSTAR Plug-Ins are loaded. The FTP, Mail and Proxy servers are actually implemented as Plug-In modules.
This chapter provides information on configuring and using the WebSTAR Server Suite application. It covers the server status reporting panel and monitor windows, passwords, serial numbers, and the Restart Server application.
