How to Use Meta Tags, Variables, and Document Instances

This section discusses two of the most important features of Tango application files: Tango meta tags and Tango variables (including variable scope and details on document instance variables).

This section contains chapters on the following topics:

• Chapter 7, "Using Meta Tags"
• Chapter 8, "Working With Variables"
• Chapter 9, "Document Object Model".

Chapter 7 and a look through Chapter 8 are recommended for new users of Tango. Chapter 9 is recommended for anyone working with XML or structured data. Previous users of Tango may want to read the sections in Chapter 8 dealing with application variable scope, domain scope, and custom scopes, as well as Chapter 9.
