This section of the Tango User's Guide gives details on the basics of Tango Editor, including the Tango Editor environment, working with Tango application files, Tango projects (including deploying and downloading projects), working with data sources, snippets, and setting Tango Editor preferences.

This section contains chapters on the following topics:

Chapter 2, the applicable parts of Chapter 3, and Chapters 4-5 in this section are strongly recommended for new users of Tango. Previous users of Tango may want to examine in detail the parts of Chapter 2 that discuss Tango file formats, and the parts of Chapter 3 that discuss new Tango project features (project dependencies and FTP).
