What's New in Tango Meta Tags
The following are a few of the most important
changes and upgrades to existing meta tags, and some of the important new tags.
There are many new meta tags in Tango 2000. They
fall into the following usage categories:
- Document Instances: <@DOM>,
<@DOMDELETE>, <@DOMINSERT>,
<@DOMREPLACE>, <@ELEMENTATTRIBUTE>,
<@ELEMENTATTRIBUTES>, <@ELEMENTNAME>,
<@ELEMENTVALUE>.
- Application Scope: <@APPKEY>,
<@APPNAME>, <@APPFILE>.
- Objects: <@CALLMETHOD>,
<@CREATEOBJECT>, <@ISNULLOBJECT>,
<@METAOBJECTHANDLERS>, <@NULLOBJECT>,
<@NUMOBJECTS>, <@OBJECTAT>,
<@OBJECTS>, <@VARPARAM>.
- Tango class files: <@CLASSFILE>,
<@CLASSFILEPATH>, <@GETPARAM>,
<@SETPARAM>.
- Tango Server information:
<@CONNECTIONS>, <@DATASOURCESTATUS>.

- Working with custom meta tags:
<@CUSTOMTAGS>, <@RELOADCUSTOMTAGS>. The
<@RELOADCUSTOMTAGS> meta tag has security built-in; without the
correct user password set, this meta tag returns an error.

<@VISITORID>.
- Working with the cache:
<@PURGECACHE>.
- Comparison meta tag: <@ISALPHA>.
- Creating HTML drop-down lists or radio button
groups: <@CHOICELIST>.

have security built-in; without the correct user password set, these meta tags
return an error.
