This configuration variable determines whether Tango Server supports application scope. When this switch is turned off, Tango Server does not support Tango applications, and <@APPNAME>, <@APPPATH>, and <@APPKEY> always return empty.

The main reason for this switch is to improve performance when applications are not being used.
